About Us

Chocolate Noise founder Megan Giller peeking out over the top of her book, Bean to Bar Chocolate.

Chocolate Noise is a woman-owned social enterprise obsessed with bean-to-bar chocolate. We lead personalized team-building chocolate tastings where guests learn everything from how to taste artisanal chocolate like an expert to how transparent trade works to how to pair fine chocolate with fine wine. Our chocolate sommeliers have over 30 years’ collective experience in the chocolate world, studying the cocoa supply chain, working at some of the best artisanal chocolate companies in the world, and judging bean-to-bar chocolate competitions. We work closely with the craft chocolate community in the U.S. and in cacao-growing regions, sharing profits and contributing to social justice projects across the world. Our tastings and work have been featured in The New York Times and Bon Appetit, and on the History Channel.

Testimonials

Megan & team organized a fantastic virtual tasting event for our team. We found it informative and fun - a wonderful way to celebrate and build virtual connectivity. Highly recommended to any corporate group!
— Colin Motley, Bain Capital
We’re really happy with the event! Folks said ‘we should do more things like this’ and the educational component was the best part. People asked a lot of questions, participants were really engaged. Happy it was a success!
— Melissa G.
What a fun evening! Filled with laughter and the opportunity to taste rare new release chocolate. Perhaps the most interesting part was hearing the stories about the chocolate makers.
— Barbie V.
