Where to Find Craft Chocolate in Boston, Massachusetts

Thanks for subscribing to the Chocolate Noise newsletter!

There are so many places to find great craft chocolate in Boston! I’m looking forward to hearing what you discover.

If you haven’t visited this bean-to-bar factory, you’re in for a treat. Taza was one of the original craft chocolate companies to start the whole American movement, and their stone-ground bars are unique and delicious.

Somerville Chocolate

This tiny bean-to-bar maker actually functions as a CSA. I’ve never tried their bars but have heard great things, and I highly recommend checking them out.

Gourmet Boutique

This little store boasts a lot of chocolate, including hard-to-find brands like Charm School.

10 Huntington Ave, Boston, MA 02116

Bacco’s Wine & Cheese

Get yourself some wine, cheese, and chocolate and have an indulgent party with your closest friends. Find everything from Askinosie to Raaka here.

31 St James Ave, Boston MA 02116

CocoaNuts Boston

I love this little candy shop, which has craft chocolate like Dick Taylor bars as well as confections and other treats. Still thinking about the brittle I bought there several years ago…

28 Parmenter Street, Boston, MA 02113

Formaggio Kitchen

The Boston outpost of this mini chain boasts good brands like Dick Taylor and Dandelion. At the New York locale, I’ve even found an almost-sold-out Rogue bar, so keep your eyes open!

244 Huron Avenue, Cambridge, MA 02138

Dave’s Fresh Pasta

Yes, this pasta shop also sells chocolate. It’s a small collection, but find great bars from makers like Askinosie here. Also check out local brands like Somerville Chocolate.

81 Holland Street, Somerville, MA 02144

Lolli & Pops Natick

I know it’s a chain and that many of these shops are in malls across America, but their selection really is great.
